Sarah's New Apartment

Sarah is moving to Portland to start grad school at Pacific University. I helped move her into her cute little studio apartment this weekend. It’s a 100 year old building with great character. I love it!

This is the room.

The room came with a trundle bed that slides into the wall and under the bathroom floor.

Here’s the bathroom with it’s awesome clawfoot tub.

And it’s elevated, so you take a few steps up into the bathroom, and in the stairs there are drawers. It’s amazing!

Here’s the bed after it was made. We ran out of hangers for all her clothes.

Sarah got this great chaise lounge from IKEA, and although pink wouldn’t have been her first choice you can’t beat a $9 couch cover.

Sarah is relaxing after getting everything moved in. Note the forced excitement on her face as I took this picture.

There is also a little storage cubby in the wall next to her bed. She briefly contemplating making that her bedroom…
