Despite working quite a bit this past weekend Andrew was bound and determined to make progress in the guest bathroom. He was more motivated that I was, which is pretty unusual around here. The vanity we ordered from Home Depot arrived Friday so in preparation I grouted the newly laid tile floor Thursday, so Saturday evening we were able to get the new toilet and vanity installed and working with no leaks. Then tonight, with a little elbow grease and a suggestion from Papo, we managed to get the last bit of plumbing done and leak-free in the shower. That just means we have to put up the last section of backer board and tile the walls to complete the major overhaul in this room. Then it’s just finishing touches… a mirror, shelves, baseboard… etc.
