Instead of a birthday party this year, we took Aiden to Great Wolf Lodge for his birthday. Andrew also started the remaining 8 weeks of his paternity leave which allowed us to go in the middle of the week, so it was cheaper and less crowded. It was a huge success!
Aiden loved all the water slides. He could go on all but 2 of them, and by the evening of our first day he was going up and down over and over (and over and over and over) by himself.
They had story time, face painting, balloon animals, characters… I was surprised at all the additional entertainment they had.

We stayed in a “wolf den” with bunk beds.
We played a little bit in the arcade.
They were both completely wiped out on the way home.
